Tshiamo Rantao
Board Chairperson

Born 8th January 1976, Mr Rantao was educated at Lobatse primary and Secondary schools; joined the national service after which he went to the University of Botswana where he pursued  a Law degree. From his days at school ,Rantao  displayed keen interest in issues of human rights.

A grounded human rights activist, Rrantao is now running his own law firm: Rantao Kewagamang Attorneys, established in 2008.

Ogone Oscar Gaboutloeloe
Deputy Chairperson

Mr Gaboutloeloe holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Botswana, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Strategic management degree with the University of Derby,UK. He works for Bokamoso Private Hospital as Board Secretary and Hospital Director of corporate and Legal Services.

Mr Gaboutloeloe joined Bokamoso Private Hospital in October 2009 from Botswana Unified Revenue Services (BURS) where he was a Legal Services Manager.
He is a recipient of a Presidential Certificate of Honour (P.C.H), which is a national award given to citizens with outstanding and exemplary contributions to the welfare and betterment of Botswana.

Mr Gaboutloeloe is a member of the Law Society of Botswana of good standing since 2004 and has been admitted as an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public since 2004.He has previously worked for BONELA as Legal and Advocacy Officer,running the Legal Aid Project.

Bright Motsu
Treasurer

Bright Moses Motsu(34) is currently employed by Barclays Bank of Botswana as the Head of Treasury Product Control, a role he has held since October 2007.He has a wealth of experience gained over the years in various positions from such companies as Debswana Diamond Company; Botswana Telecommunications Corporation; KPMG Botswana; Kgalagadi Breweries and Barlow World(Plascon Paints)

Mr Motsu is a holder of a Masters of Science Degree in Strategic Management with the University of Derby in the UK; an Association of Accounting Technicians qualification(AAT) completed in 1999 with the Botswana Accountancy College, and Certificates in Risk Management and Treasury Operations(ACI).

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the association of Chartered and Certified Accountants(ACCA) in 2003.In addition, Mr Motsu is a fellow member of the Botswana Institute of Accounts and the association of Chartered and Certified Accountants. Bright qualified as an ISO 9000:2000 auditor in 2004 and has a certificate in advanced commercial lending. He is currently studying for an Associate Professional Risk Management Course (APRM).

Cynthia Boikanyo
Secretary

Cynthia is a practicing attorney at M K Moesi & Co where she has worked for six years.Born and raised in Mahalapye, she is a holder of an LLB degree fro the University of Botswana. She also has research experience like issues of teenage reproductive health and HIV and AIDS, gained through a sort stint with the United Nations I 2002.

Cynthia is passionate about charity work and describes her involvement with BONELA as an epiphany.” When I saw an advert in the newspapers inviting applications for board members, I jumped at the opportunity and applied.

I realized that being a part of an organization like BONELA will bring me close to realizing my dream of working with and for the less advantaged members of our society”

Tshepiso Lediretse
Vice Secretary

Tshepiso is a twenty eight year old Attorney-at-Law employed as Head of the Debt Collection Department at Armstrong’s Attorneys. Her practice not only focuses on debt collection, but involves an array of civil litigation across the spectrum, for the firm’s corporate commercial clients.

Tshepiso has pursue her passion for civil litigation in private practice since completion of her Letter of Law Baccalaureate (LLB) at the University of Botswana in 2004.

Tshepiso is determined to impart and exert her knowledge and skill in the Law and Botswana’s legal system by actively participating in legal matters that involves either BONELA, its members or members of the public who would seek the assistance of the network.

Sebusang Lebegang
Additional Member

Sebasang is a young entrepreneur, human rights activist, youth leader and community developer.
He is currently self employed entrepreneur in advertising, Business Consultancy and farmining. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Business administration and Management(ABMA) UK and a student of both ACCA, UK and CIMA, UK, both accounting professions.

Sebusang has been in community development for the past 10 years as a member of different community organizations. He is the Chairperson of Gaborone Youth Red Cross Branch , Treasurer of Junior Chamber International (JCI), Gaborone chapter,  outgoing Vice President of  Business round Table International (BRI). He is also a member of Tebelopele’s Youth Against AIDS club (YAA).

Boitumelo Rabantheng
Additional Member

Mrs. Rabantheng was born in 1951 in Palapye. She possesses a Bachelor of Commerce Degree obtained from the University of Botswana in 1986.She has 25 years of experience in  finance, accounts and business development gained as a teacher, computer operator, accounts supervisor; accounts controller; senior accountant and business development officer.

Mrs Rabantheng also has an appreciation of strategic planning and implementation of management systems; staff development programmes, administrative policies; operational procedures and conflict resolution.
